In the hub quotes about life I am going to continue the topic that I started last time. I am going to concentrate on famous people quotes, which show those authors’ worldview. I believe those short sayings contain a lot of wisdom, paradoxes, humor and sometimes ambiguity. If you read my first hub you probably know how I am going to present those quotes. I have picked up 5 sayings and will present some short comments on each one of them. I still hold to my position that the quotes can enrich you much more than most television programs or dumb movies. You simply need to sit down and take your time to read the wisdom of the ancient and learn as well as enjoy yourself. Although our human nature is very egoistic we just exist if we only think about things that concern us. I am convinced that nothing in this life happens by chance. If you see somebody in great shape it did not come by chance. The person worked on it. One has to have an unbreakable attitude in order to continue when things are tough and it looks like you are wasting your time and no progress is seen. I am very glad that the topic of faith has become popular recently. Most probably it can be attributed to different motivational books that are being published by the thousands. Faith is an essential thing that enables us to achieve great things. If you want to achieve something you have to believe that you can do it. However, before you can believe for great things you must have a dream to believe. And I think the bigger your dream the more interesting your life is and naturally the bigger things you can achieve. Just believe it. Some people have very negative attitude about dreams due to the fact that they associate them with some sort of laziness or being far from reality. Well, I believe there are two realities: visible and invisible. Visible reality is born from invisible reality. Oh, how we are afraid of opinions that other people have about us. Sometimes we are able to sacrifice our beliefs just to please others and keep good relationships. So, whose life do you want to live? I prefer living my own. And so should you. Do not be upset if other people do not like you and do not give in if they try to force their opinions on you. Sounds very sad, but it is true. So, we must be careful how we spend our lives. I am surprised by seeing how many people just waste their lives. It seems that they are going to spend that ‘coin’ again and again. Unfortunately, when they realize that the end is near their lives are already wasted by that time. Then they can only tell to their kids or grandchildren (if they have any) not to follow the same path that their dad or grandfather followed. However, the best way to educate them is to show a good example. Anyway, I believe that as long as we alive we have a hope for a change and can spend even our last weeks meaningfully.

This is one of the biggest paradoxes in life. Institutions that have to care about justice are the ones that are corrupt most. I do not think it has to be that way. Corruption is present in these institutions just because people running those institutions are corrupt. The same is true just about anything else in life. Politics, finance, banking, investing and etc. are corrupt because people working in those spheres are corrupt. However, when honest people come there they can make a difference. Of course, if they do not become corrupt!
