Inspirational quotes are the theme of this hub. Artists, sportsmen, writers and I suppose people from all walks of life seek for inspiration. We want to rise above this material world and feel, experience something transcendental. People use different means to achieve it: some read books, others stay in nature, and some even drug themselves to experience inspiration. Some means are quite positive; others as you may see can be very destructive. I believe we need and we can get inspired in many different ways but in the hub I would offer one more way and that is by reading some inspirational quotes.

I suppose you have read quite many stories how people who are very successful nowadays were bad pupils at school, dropped out of universities, had problems in relationships and were even considered to be losers. Opportunities are around every person, but not every person is able to see them just because he is not looking for them or he is too pessimistic and the greatest opportunities are missed even though quite often they are just under his nose. Great thoughts and a great attitude towards life make a man great and enable to sport opportunities in the places where an average man sees only problems. And it not only shows us our true faces but gives us an opportunity to change if we do not like what we find out in us during those times of testing.

You can easily stop evil from inhabiting your soul by stopping evil thoughts when they show up in the horizon. And on the contrary you can keep on thinking good thoughts and good words, deeds and character will be your reward. And you will definitely lead a happy life.

Nothing so opens your heart as a grateful heart of the one, whom you had done something good. And vice versa, ungrateful heart breaks relationships, causes conflicts and forces us to stop doing anything good for those who do not feel any gratitude for us. Very often children take everything for granted that their parents do for them. It is good that they usually change when they grow up and have their own children. However, sometimes people never change because they become so self-centered that they think that everybody else should care about them, love them and sacrifice time to serve them. Ingratitude blinds us as we forget that real living is serving others and not expecting others to serve us. So, let us be grateful to everyone who has done us good and let us not stop doing good for others even if they do not thank us for that.

We usually do the opposite. We are not happy about our daily life, world, circumstances, but we do not do much. We simply complain about the state of things. However, things do not change because of our complaints. Things change because you do something to bring about the change. I think that most people are not pioneers that take on responsibility of changing things that seem to be in status quo. Others simply believe that most things are impossible to change. What we have to do is to start making one step at a time and what seems impossible will seem ‘mighty possible’ very soon.

It seems that when we decide to do something serious in life all possible forces start going against us. There suddenly appear other opportunities that were never there when we needed them and those opportunities now try to distract us and lure us to do something else and forget what we have determined to reach. I think this has something to do with some general human mentality hanging in the air. That mentality is connected with following masses and going with the flow, but never against the flow. Unfortunately, the road to success never offers you comfort zones, which usually abound in the territory that can be called ‘going with the flow’. If your purpose in life is just to be like everybody else is you are going to lead a mediocre life and your success will be limited.
